講者介紹

美國普渡大學哲學博士、新英格蘭視光學院視光博士，現職為低視能專業醫師，並擔任亞洲大學視光學系講座教授，歷經美國哈佛大學、新加坡國立眼科中心及眼科研究所，東北文化學園大學、金沢醫科大學，中山醫學大學等教授職。鄭教授長期以來關注於國內視光學及低視能專業發展，並以其視光醫師專業培訓相關領域人力並為驗光立法提供發展方向。

Dr. Cheng received his PhD from Purdue University and OD from New England College of Optometry, both in US. He specializes in low vision care and is currently Chair Professor of Department of Optometry at Asia University in Taiwan. Dr. Cheng has served in numerous institutions including Harvard Medical School, Singapore Eye Research Institute/Singapore National Eye Centre, Tohoku Bunka Gakuyen University, Kanazawa Medical University, and Chung Shan Medical University. He has been instrumental in the advancement of both optometry and low vision fields in Taiwan as well as in continuing education programs and legislative policy development.
